Easter Island
Easter Island is in the Pacific Ocean between Tahiti and Chile. It is one of the most isolated places on Earth. Easter Island is famous for its huge statues that were carved hundreds of years ago. Some of these statues are 12 metres high and it is a mystery as to how early islanders were able to create them.
