You are a member of an elite group of museum curators for a travelling art exhibit that is coming to your school. Your job is to research and acquire the artworks you will display in the show.
Your Mission is to leap into the life of a famous artist. Find out as much as possible about your artist including early life, daily life, talents, subjects and style of painting.
1. Acquaint yourself with various artists.
2. Look at different paintings from different time periods.
3. Select one artist to showcase and produce a web page on him/her.
4. Produce an online drawing.
You will be working with two or three other museum curators to produce an exhibit with an overall theme of your choice. In addition, each curator will be an expert on a different artist, and will choose between three and ten works of art that are good examples of their artists work. When the exhibit is opened to the public, the works of art will be displayed with your research as well as one of your own works of art.
