Around the World Economy Tour

1.  Open Excel. Go to  File/ Page Setup/Landscape/OK

2.  In cell (A1) type the heading - Around the World Economy Tour

3.  Sweep out cells (A1) to G1). Click

4. Change the size of the text to 20. Change the font if you wish.

5. Miss line 2. On line 3 put the following headings.

   Country    Population   Area  Capital   Currency  Interesting fact 1   Interesting fact 2

6. Make the cells wider if necessary.

7. Choose 5 or 6 countries to investigate. These sites will help you.

8.  To type more than one line of text in a cell

• move the edge of the cell to the width you want
  

• go to Format/cell
  

• alignment
  

• tick the Wrap text box.
  

9.  Save your work. Change the name from Book 1 to Around the World Economy Tour
